GP's feel they're missing out as health care workers jump the vaccine queue

Frontline border workers in main centres have been getting the jab this week.
But, when a batch of vaccine is a day away from expiry, hospital staff, primary care, and community testing centre staff are on standby to make sure the doses aren't wasted.
Royal New Zealand College of GP's medical director Bryan Betty says any surplus vaccine should be going to the right places.
He says the covid-19 risk lies in general practice, community testing centres and urgent care centres.
