Nurses waiting for the Covid-19 vaccine are breathing a sigh of relief

Nurses waiting for the Covid-19 vaccine are breathing a sigh of relief

It follows border staff and then their households - a group of about 50-thousand receiving the jab this week.

The Nurses Organisation's Kate Weston says it'll bolster our health system ahead of future outbreaks.

She says we've seen problems overseas when nurses themselves became sick, and some died.
