An air of anticipation as this afternoon's America's Cup racing edges closer

An air of anticipation as this afternoon's America's Cup racing edges closer

Team New Zealand has won five races for the Auld Mug, against Luna Rossa's three - in the first to seven series.

Coastguard on-water coordinator John Cowan says he's picking up to fifteen hundred spectator craft will take to the water.

He says the spectators to date have been terrific - once the course perimeter has been set up they've anchored behind it, often five or six deep - and he's expecting the same thing again today.
