Gone are the country's 20 DHBs

Gone are the country's 20 DHBs

They'll be replaced by a Crown entity with four regional divisions - responsible for the day-to-day running of the health system.

The major restructure also includes a Maori Health Authority - and a new agency with responsibility for public health.

The Government's yet to decide on the future of Disability Support Services - saying it's asked for more advice.

The reforms will be phased in over three years.
