Encouraging news for the Crusaders ahead of the naming of their starting lineup to face the Blues in Christchurch on sunday

Encouraging news for the Crusaders ahead of the naming of their starting lineup to face the Blues in Christchurch on sunday

Centre Leicester Fainga'anuku was forced from the field with a head knock during last weekend's Super Rugby Aotearoa loss to the Chiefs.

Assistant coach Andrew Goodman says they're hopeful they'll be able to include him in the side when they name their starting lineup on Friday.

The Crusaders are still waiting the results of a second scan to Joe Moody's injured toe, but appear resigned to having the All Blacks loosehead sitting in the stands in the coming weeks.
