Ensuring a better schooling experience for one of our largest ethnic minority groups

Ensuring a better schooling experience for one of our largest ethnic minority groups

Around 300 Pasifika education leaders are gathering in Christchurch today for a national Fono - or meeting.

They'll look at how the system can be more responsive to Pasifika learners.

Primary teachers union spokesperson Caroline Mareko says it's about ensuring a better future for both children and educators.

She hopes participants will learn more about themselves - and where they are placed to be in front of children.
