Scott Dixon has lost the lead late in this morning's second Indycar race in Texas

The Chip Ganassi driver led for more than 150 laps but has been passed just after emerging from his final pit stop.

He is currently in seventh place as he looks to secure back to back wins to extend his lead in the drivers championship.

Fellow Kiwi Scott McLaughlin who started from seventh has slipped to 12th.

There are around 40 laps remaining in the race.
