    The Highlanders are investigating allegations 13-test All Black Shannon Frizell assaulted a woman at a Dunedin bar at the weekend


    Dunedin Police have confirmed a rugby player of significance was involved in an incident at Vault 21 around 2.30am on Sunday.

    Police were notified of the allegations on Sunday, but officers did not attend the incident.

    Highlanders chief executive Roger Clark is aware of the incident and the club will investigate.
