Hope there'll be a meeting of minds in the America's Cup negotiations

Hope there'll be a meeting of minds in the America's Cup negotiations

A 100-million dollar offer from the Government and Auckland Council doesn't appear to be enough to keep the Auld Mug here.

Team New Zealand's rejected the offer -- and is believed to want a package worth more than 200-million.

Former America's Cup skipper Chris Dickson says Covid-19 meant the event this year didn't reach its potential.

He says we didn't get the hundred super yachts of the past, and it felt like half a party.

Dickson says we deserve the other half.
