Jiann-Hwa Maa was arrested after Zion Gutnik was killed at Epsom's Club 574 in March last year.
The 61-year-old has pleaded guilty in the High Court at Auckland this morning.
A half-day disputed facts hearing on June 10 will address outstanding matters - but today's guilty plea means a murder trial won't be necessary.
Maa was convicted and remanded in custody.
