A jury has taken less than four hours to find three Taranaki police officers not guilty of manslaughter,

The trio were charged after the death of 55 year old Allen Ball in custody - with the Crown arguing they failed to provide him with appropriate medical attention.
All three accused broke down in tears as the verdicts were read out.
Family, friends and colleagues of the officers also broke down in tears and hugged each other.
