Greg Murphy is coming out of retirement to race in October's Bathurst 1000

Greg Murphy is coming out of retirement to race in October's Bathurst 1000

The four-time winner will drive an Erebus Motorsport wildcard entry alongside Richie Stanaway.

It's Murphy's first start at Mt Panorama since 2014.

He's told Australia's Channel Seven his arm required twisting.

The entry will mark the 25th anniversary of Murphy's first win.

Surfer Paige Hareb has revealed she was rushed to hospital after falling unconscious while celebrating her birthday in El Salvador.

She missed qualifying for the Olympics at the World Surfing Games.

Hareb's posted on Instagram that she had just had her cake before passing out for up to three minutes.

She has been given a clean bill of health after undergoing tests.

Golfer Ryan Fox is adamant the European Tour bubble is worse than last year.

He's finished tied for 11th in his second return tournament at Hamburg and has driven seven and a half hours to Gothenburg for his next event.

Fox says last year the tour operated in an almost exclusive UK bubble.
