A silver lining for outgoing Warriors winger Ken Maumalo

A silver lining for outgoing Warriors winger Ken Maumalo

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The 26-year-old will join the Wests Tigers tomorrow after he was granted an early release from his contract with the Auckland NRL club, linking up with Kiwis coach Michael Maguire.

Maumalo says he understood why he was omitted from the match day team in recent weeks - because he needed to work on his defence and his movements.

He says Maguire called his manager to ask why he wasn't playing.
