Emilia Clarke would stop her character from dying in ‘Game of Thrones’ if she could go back and change one moment from the HBO series

The 34-year-old actress played Daenerys Targaryen – the Mother of Dragons - in the acclaimed fantasy TV series but was killed off in the very last episode and she admits she'd love to alter that scene if she could

Asked if there was one thing she would change about the show, Emilia told theSkimm: “Right, the bit where I died!”

Meanwhile, Emilia also suggested that ‘Game of Thrones’ showrunner Dan Weiss was responsible for the infamous coffee cup blunder – when a Starbucks coffee cup was spotted in a scene with Daenerys in the final season of the show.

When quizzed on her preferred morning drink, Emilia said: “It’s not Starbucks – spoiler. I’m going to say it again for the record – was not mine. Looking at you, Dan Weiss!"

Meanwhile, the ‘Last Christmas’ star previously explained that Daenerys “saved her life” as the role gave her the “strength” to get back on her feet after she suffered two life-threatening brain aneurysms.

Emilia said: "I've been lying about this for a number of years. Every time anyone was like, 'Where do you get your strength?' I'm like, 'Heavens, I have no idea.' But [my character] and I grew together and, it's corny as hell, but she saved my life.

"The main thing that happens after you've had a brain injury - paralysis and all of that aside - is that you have fatigue, which sounds like a fancy way of saying you're tired, but it's debilitating to the point of demoralising. And you can't look someone in the eye because it brings up shame.

"Most people don't have the mother of dragons' shoes to walk in to help them get out of it, and those are the people I speak to now.”
