A Mongrel Mob spokeswoman says there's no pressure on guests to give a koha

A Mongrel Mob spokeswoman says there's no pressure on guests to give a koha

The Human Rights Commissioner is under fire after donating 200-dollars of taxpayer money to the gang, at a hui in May.

Paul Hunt says it would've been extremely disrespectful not to offer a koha.

Gang public relations manager Louise Hutchinson says it's up to a person to decide what is acceptable.

She says they don't expect money from people, as that's not how they operate.

Hutchinson says the money went towards a marae sleepover, focused on dealing with trauma.
