Southland farmers are sending truck-loads of feed north, to help out those in Canterbury

Southland farmers are sending truck-loads of feed north, to help out those in Canterbury

The hardest-hit farmers had paddocks scoured by new river courses, and winter crops wiped out by June's 100-year flooding event.

Federated Farmers says the second round of donated baleage and silage is heading their way.

Mid Canterbury president David Clark says they're targeting farmers who need it the most.
