A cash injection for critical health research

The Health Research Council has announced about 46 million dollars in funding for research, including more than 10 million for Maori and Pacific research.
Health Minister Andrew Little says the projects will cover everything from vaccine hesitancy, to improving genetic diagnoses for Kiwi kids.
There'll also be studies in illnesses like cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
