18-year-old Broc Feeney will occupy the seat left by Supercars living legend Jamie Whincup, when the seven-time champion steps away from fulltime driving at the end of this year

Feeney, a Super3 champion and the current Super2 series leader, has penned a multiyear deal to join Red Bull racing from 2022.

He will drive alongside new teammate and New Zealander Shan van Gisbergen.

Whincup - the record holder for driver's titles and race wins in the series' history - will become Triple Eight's managing director next year.
