    Former All Black Chris Laidlaw is paying tribute to rugby great Waka Nathan who has died at the age of 81


    The Auckland stalwart played 37 times for New Zealand and 88 matches for his province.

    Nathan also worked as a selector and manager of the New Zealand Maori side in the 70s and 80s.

    Laidlaw says the flanker was one of a kind.
