A sign of reluctance from New Zealanders to see border restrictions relaxed, just yet
27 September 2021
Polling, from Talbot Mills Research, shows 64 per cent of New Zealanders don't think the borders should re-open until the vaccination rate is very high.
These numbers are higher still among Labour and Greens supporters.... up around 70 per cent.
About 60 per cent of Act and National supporters think we should wait for at least 90 per cent.
So far, 42.5 per cent of eligible New Zealanders are fully vaccinated.
