Exporters are eager and ready to sign up to the Government's self-isolation pilot

Exporters are eager and ready to sign up to the Government's self-isolation pilot

The alternative trial to MIQ will be eligible for 150 business travellers towards the end of this year.

Expressions of interest open on Thursday.

Applicants must be fully vaccinated, a New Zealand citizen or resident, and have an approved private dwelling they can return to.

ExportNZ executive director Catherine Beard says they've had a huge amount of interest ... especially from companies who need to get overseas for new business.

She says you can keep existing customers but if you can't get to trade shows, you'll run out your pipeline of business.
