A teenager's due in the Kaikohe Youth Court today after the death of a Far North man

The 15-year-old's been charged with murder after Michael Biggins was found in a vehicle crashed into a paddock in Okaihau on Monday evening.

Police say the 62-year-old's a much-loved member of his family and they're being offered support.

People with information that may help the investigation are asked to call police on 105 .

Officers will be making enquiries in the Okaihau area over the next week, and still need to speak to a number of people.
