    Two people have moderate to serious injuries, after a crash in Mount Maunganui


    Police say they were called to reports of a motorbike hitting a pedestrian at the Tweed Street and Aberdeen Street intersection about 8.45 this morning.

    Tweed Street is closed and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
