A call for more clarity about when Kiwis will be able to get travelling domestically again

A call for more clarity about when Kiwis will be able to get travelling domestically again

The rental vehicle sector has been hit hard by the latest Covid-19 restrictions and wants a date they can get going again.

It's estimated the industry has had a fall in revenue of at least 55 percent since the latest lockdown.

Rental Vehicle Association General manager Tony Mortensen says many businesses will throw in the towel.

He says many can't keep operating with the uncertainty and cash loss.
