The Crusaders winger scored the All Blacks' third try of the night with a stunning chip-and-regather into the Wales' 22.
Foster says even though it was Jordan's 16th try in 11 tests, this was a breakthrough moment.
The All Blacks ran in seven tries to one, scoring four in the last quarter.
Lock Brodie Retallick suffered a shoulder injury, with an update expected tomorrow morning.
