A shake-up has been confirmed at Christchurch City Council

A shake-up has been confirmed at Christchurch City Council

Chief Executive Dawn Baxendale has confirmed changes will go ahead to the organisation's management structure.

Twenty roles are set to be disestablished and 13 new roles created, resulting in seven fewer jobs across all four areas of the council.

The change will save between 700 and 800 thousand dollars a year.

Staff consultation was carried out over the last couple of months.
