Three adults and three children from the same Stratford family have tested positive for the virus.
One case is in a stable condition in hospital - while the other five are isolating at home.
The family had been reluctant to get tested and hadn't been using the Covid tracer app.
Grant Robertson says one of the six is vaccinated -- and there's a clear link to the Auckland outbreak.
He says there was a member of the family in Auckland coming down to be with their family in the Stratford area -- and a family member went to Auckland to pick them up.
Meanwhile, New Zealand has 201 new community cases today, and there are 85 people in hospital.
