    Waikato coach Ross Filipo is lauding the success of their leadership group as they eye a victorious end to a turbulent season


    The Mooloos host Tasman in the NPC premiership final this evening for their first game in Hamilton since Covid-19 restrictions were placed on the region.

    Captain Ayden Johnstone will return for Waikato after sitting out their semi-final.

    But Filipo says there have been numerous senior players who've stepped up.

    Taranaki have triumphed in the Championship final with a 32-19 victory over Otago in Inglewood.
