Breakers boss Matt Walsh has shed light on what it's like to contract Covid-19

Breakers boss Matt Walsh has shed light on what it's like to contract Covid-19

The number of cases in camp has increased to nine, with Walsh confirming both he and coach Dan Shamir have the virus.

Walsh says his son tested positive a few days before he did, and it's not something to joke around with.

He says if they didn't follow their team protocols that they had in place, the group would've been hit harder.

The Breakers are due to face South East Melbourne next Saturday to tip off their season, but Walsh says he'd like the game rescheduled to December 10.
