Goalkeeper Oli Sail is dousing speculation of a rift in the Phoenix camp

Goalkeeper Oli Sail is dousing speculation of a rift in the Phoenix camp

Their 2-1 win over Central Coast, saw an onfield disagreement between Ben Waine and Reno Piscopo over who would take a late penalty.

Waine won out but his spot-kick attempt was saved.

    Sail loves their intent.

A less positive sign is Phoenix franchise general manager David Dome issuing a Twitter plea lamenting the lack of a corporate partner to support their women's team's maiden season.

The team kicks off their campaign in five days.

Dome says two potential candidates fell through last week.
