The Wellington Phoenix want answers from the A-League following their loss to the Western Sydney Wanderers

The Wellington Phoenix want answers from the A-League following their loss to the Western Sydney Wanderers

The club have written to Head of Referees Nathan Magill seeking clarity on two incidents which occurred during the match.

The Wanderers opened the scoring through Tomer Hemed - despite Hemed shoving 'Nix defender Callan Elliot in the lead-up with no foul ensuing.

Phoenix operations manager Shaun Gill says a hand ball from Hemed in the lead-up to a disallowed 'Nix goal should also have been sighted.
