A teenage boy killed in an early morning assault in Christchurch is being fondly remembered

A teenage boy killed in an early morning assault in Christchurch is being fondly remembered

18-year-old Levi Haami was found with serious injures in the Countdown carpark on Moorhouse Avenue in Sydenham around two on Saturday morning.

Police are urging witnesses to come forward with any information they can provide.

In Facebook posts, the teenager is being remembered as a loving son, brother and friend.

His barber in the city centre, who's known Levi for over a decade, has described him as a sweet, curious boy with a million questions about life.
