Women are being urged to push the Government to clear the backlog in mammograms, caused by Covid-19

Women are being urged to push the Government to clear the backlog in mammograms, caused by Covid-19

The Breast Cancer Foundation says 50 thousand women are overdue for their tests, which means three hundred women could have undiagnosed cancer.

CEO Ah-Leen Rayner says Pink Ribbon breakfasts, which raise money for the organisation, start today.

She says they're not just for fund-raising this year.

Rayner's asking participants to advocate on behalf of New Zealand women for targeted Government investment in more mammograms.
