Scott McLaughlin's spun out while in the lead in the Grand Prix of Indianapolis in Indycar, eventually finishing 18th in a chaotic race

The wet and wild race was reduced to a timed event due to heavy rain, with McLaughlin in a strong position before losing control while the safety car was out.

Fellow kiwi Scott Dixon overcame some struggles of his own to finish 10th.

    Colton Herta won the race.
