Four defendants, 38 complainants, and 88 charges - a trial on drink spiking and sexual assault allegations has been delayed six months

Open Justice reports it was decided in May the jury trial in Christchurch District Court should start next February - with reasons for the delay suppressed.
The delay couldn't be reported until today.
Three men in their 30s were arrested in 2018 after 20 complaints from women alleging their drinks were spiked at the bar, Mama Hooch.
A fourth man was charged in 2019.
Charges include offering to supply MDMA, stupefying 10 people, indecently assaulting two women and sexually violating one.
