A homicide investigation's been launched in Auckland, after a man died nearly a month after being critically injured in a 'disorder incident'

A homicide investigation's been launched in Auckland, after a man died nearly a month after being critically injured in a 'disorder incident'

The man was injured in the suburb of Rosehill on May 15 -- and died in Auckland City Hospital on Wednesday.

Another man was taken to Middlemore Hospital at the time and has been discharged.

A 24-year-old has been charged over the initial disorder incident.

Police say they can't rule out the possibility of further charges being laid.
