Justin Thomas has prepared for a grind at this week's US golf Open, at Brookline in Boston

The PGA Championship winner is coming off a runner-up finish to Rory McIlroy at the Canadian Open.

US Open courses are notorious for their tricky greens and brutal roughs... and Thomas says it will definitely be a grind.

The US Open starts early Friday morning with Ryan Fox and Danny Lee the two Kiwis in the field.
