The Winter Games will return to Central Otago in late August, after a year's break due to the pandemic

International competitors will be welcomed back for the first time since 2019.

Featuring 16 events across alpine, freeride and freestyle, the Winter Games is the Southern Hemisphere's biggest snow sports event.

It only went ahead in a condensed, team format in 2020.
