Farmers say urban policing of boy racers has pushed the groups into the countryside

Farmers say urban policing of boy racers has pushed the groups into the countryside

This has left farmers concerned for their property and livestock.

A Taranaki farmer was recently fined for firing at a group of boy-racers.

Federated Farmers Taranaki President Mark Hooper says they are concerned by the lack of rural policing.

He says we have to think of a longer term community solution to the problem.
