Former nurses could hold the key to bolster the health workforce

The Government's expanding a programme covering the costs of re-registering nurses that want to rejoin the sector.
It's expected to see 200 nurses get back into their scrubs by year's end - many in aged care facilities.
Health Minister Andrew Little says there's about 10-thousand people that have left in the past decade.
He says during the vaccination campaign last year, quite a few came back to help out - with some deciding to carry on with the work.
