A truck has crashed into a property on Auckland's Hobsonville Road

The sizeable HI-ab ploughed on its side through the front yard, narrowly missing the home.

Police say two vehicles were involved - and one person has minor injuries.

Neighbour Lesley Willmot says she was sitting in her lounge when she heard an "almighty bang".

She says one person was inside the home, and just about to open the window at the very spot where the truck crashed into the property.
