New Zealand Cricket boss David White is paying tribute to bowling stalwart Trent Boult who is winding down his international career

New Zealand Cricket boss David White is paying tribute to bowling stalwart Trent Boult who is winding down his international career

The 33 year old has been released from his central contract so he can spend more time with his family.

Boult has cited mental health reasons in the past for missing Black Caps matches from time to time in recent years.

White says Boult has been a tremendous servant.

All Blacks captain Sam Cane is defending his side's opening defeat to the Springboks as they prepare for the second test on Sunday morning at Ellis Park.

Cane insists they've made progress after the Irish series defeat.

Fiona XU has the chance to emulate one of Lydia Ko's early career achievements.

The world number four won the Australian and US women's amateur championships in 2012.

Aucklander Xu won the Australian Amateur in April and has qualified for the round of 64 matchplay at the US champs in Seattle after a superb second round of strokeplay.
