The kiwi drivers have been in the wars in the latest Indycar race in Detroit, with all three missing out on the podium

Alex Palou won the race to extend his series lead with Will Power second and Felix Rosenqvist third.

Scott Dixon tapped Will Power late as he was squeezed by the Australian rounding a bend - sending him slightly airborne then got a tap back for his troubles shortly after.

Dixon came fourth, with compatriot Scott McLaughlin seventh after early contact with Frenchman Romain Grosjean .



Marcus Armstrong was eighth.
