    Silver Fern Kate Heffernan has put her hand up to fill the wing defence bib at the Netball World Cup starting later this month


    The former White Fern T20 cricketer played mostly at centre for the Southern Steel this year in the ANZ Premiership.

    And while centre is her favourite position, Heffernan's happy to swap bibs for coach Dame Noeline Taurua.



    The Silver Ferns begin their second pre-World Cup boot camp on the Sunshine Coast tomorrow.
