Thanks from Scott McLaughlin to the one driver who beat him to the chequered flag in the first of two races at the latest IndyCar round in Iowa

The Kiwi driver has finished second behind team-mate Josef Newgarden.

McLaughlin says his fellow Team Penske pilot played a big part in his first podium result since April.

McLaughlin sits sixth in the Championship, while compatriot Scott Dixon - who finished sixth - dropped back one spot to third overall.
