    The defending series champion's eventually eased to an eighth straight victory, now one consecutive win shy of Sebastian Vettel's 2013 record.

    Verstappen's pleased to overcome adversity.



    In Formula E, Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans completed a New Zealand 1-2 in the final race of the season at London.

    Jake Dennis finished third, having secured the overall championship earlier in the weekend.
