The Silver Ferns have been left red-faced after losing to an under-strength England team in Christchurch

After being so angry and dismissive about the Brits sending a "B" team for the Taini Jamison netball series...New Zealand has dropped the first test 55 to 54.

England captain Hallimat Adio told Sky Sport the Roses were fired up...but not by the disparaging comments.

The Ferns trailed by six goals at halftime AND the third quarter break...but their final quarter blitz couldn't bridge the gap.
