Finally reason to smile for Kiwi triathlete Hayden Wilde

Finally reason to smile for Kiwi triathlete Hayden Wilde

The Olympic bronze medallist has defended his title at the penultimate round of the Super League Triathlon series in Malibu this morning.

A controversial penalty cost Wilde a chance at victory at the previous round in Toulouse - while another technical ruling in Spain last weekend meant he had to settle for second overall in the world championship series.

Wilde sits third in the Super League standings heading into the season finale in Saudi Arabia later this month.
