    A massive gang tangi is expected to cause disruption on Motorways from Auckland to Foxton this weekend


    Senior Head Hunter William "Bird" Hines's died after years of poor health, brought on by type two diabetes.

    He was released by the Parole Board on compassionate grounds, just before his 70th birthday late last year, after serving a 17-year prison sentence for running a methamphetamine syndicate.

    The procession is expected to make the more than 500km journey south sometime this morning.

    It's expected it to be the biggest gang funeral in Kiwi history.
