    A promising New Zealand talent has emerged to replace Shane van Gisbergen in Supercars racing


    In van Gisbergen's final race before departing for Nascar next year, rookie Matt Payne took the chequered flag in Adelaide for his first career victory on Sky Sport.



    Van Gisbergen has failed to finish his last race due to technical issues with his car.

    Brodie Kostecki won the overall title.
